Suzuki revealed its new cross-over at 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, named as 2017 SUZUKI IGNIS which is an eye-catching SUV car. Furthermore, it has also taken a reasonably bold approach with its features to stand out in the crowd. Its rear-end design seems like that of Suzuki SC-100.

OVERVIEW

It will be a new model that will expand the brand’s range by its modern designing. Body work is chunky and headlights are also large and high. Its engine has “mild hybrid” option that helps the engine while accelerating. In addition, with a choice of two and four-wheel drive, it is expected to take on the Nissan Juke and Fiat Panda with its compact cross-over. It is expected to come up with more modern features and upgraded equipment most probably. If you are looking for a compact cross-over SUV, then it is a good choice.

EXTERIOR

Look-wise, first of all, it seems to be bold with some traces of past designs. It has bulging wheel-arches and an angular window line which gives it a tougher look. In addition, black window and wind-screen pillars create a floating-roof. Grille is black, surrounded by chrome-trim. Headlights are framed by U-shaped LED lights. Furthermore, on the front bumper, there are chrome fog-lights beneath. Extra styling includes black plastic cladding around wheels, red stripes and roof rack also to highlight the car.

INTERIOR

Interior-wise, it has a colorful cabin with funky design details. A large tablet-like infotainment system covers the dashboard. Cabin includes a row of toggle switches, two rotary dials for controlling heat settings, and an instrument cluster is also present. However, its cabin is not that much spacious due to its compact size. It has a tablet-like screen on top of dashboard that controls different functions.
