KIA TELLURIDE CONCEPT is based on the current SOR crossover SUV but it’s longer and has an extended wheelbase. Also, the concept looks like a blend of the Chevy Suburban and Bentley EXP 9 F. When we talk about the production of full-size SUVs, the name Kia is not so well-known. However, Kia wants to enter this piece in the market and is planning a vehicle in future.
During the recent Detroit Auto Show 2016, Kia debuted a hybrid SUV concept named as the “2016 Kia Telluride concept”. According to the automakers, it is a future full-sized SUV car.
KIA TELLURIDE CONCEPT-EXTERIOR
It is 196.9 inches long, 79.1 inches wide and has a height of 70.9 inches. On the front, it has a large version of the nose, quad-LED headlights, and long LED indicator lights. The front bumper is huge and below it is a skid plate made of polished metal. Furthermore, at the back side, it has slim taillights. Other features are mostly ready for production. They include normal size pillars also.
KIA TELLURIDE CONCEPT INTERIOR
The 2016 Kia Telluride Concept is a big SUV with a capacity of 7 passengers. It features captain seats on the first and second rows while a bench seat on the third row. Black leather trim is used in all seats. Second-row seats have the fold-away option. The captain seats come with sensors embedded in their seatbacks. These sensors are used to monitor a passenger’s health and then display the information on the screens fitted on door panels. Energy-boosting therapy for passengers is available. The steering wheel, door panels, and dashboard are built via 3-D printing technology.
It has a 3.5 L, V-6 petrol engine rated at 270 hp which combines with a potent electric motor rated at 130 hp. The engine is estimated to deliver over 30 mpg on the highway.
It has confirmed that it is not going to be taken into production rather it previews a future SUV.
