When introduced at the New York International Auto Show last year, it gained a lot of fame and attention of many buyers. The styling distinctions are largely confined to a different mesh grille, which is already displayed on the MKZ sedan. The design of wheels is also slightly altered. Its previous styling was elegant and without traditional door handles. The interior was featured with rear seats, beautiful finishes, and a set of custom leather loafers for the passengers in the back.
The current model is a complete blend of dramatic styling, attractive and quiet cabin featuring latest technology features, heated and 10-way adjustable seats, a 10-speaker audio system and a chrome-trimmed dash. The reason why car buyers love it is that it has subtly distinctive styling, a warm interior with luxury touches, the enormous power output by the engine and numerous electronic safety features.

The exterior design features a grille with a mesh pattern that uses a Lincoln logo that has already been adopted by the MKZ, along with a face lift. The doors do not have conventional hand pockets. Instead, the chrome beltline molding curves out and forms the handle, so there is no need of hand-pockets. The latch is electronic and the doors have power cinching, as well. The seats also feature adjustable support for the driver’s thighs. It is based on five seats with outboard positions offering heating, cooling and massage functions.
The Continental will be offered in four trim levels: Premiere, Select, Reserve, and Black Label. Also, the car features nice touching including a good lighting sequence with LED lights in the lower fascia, headlights, taillights, and interior lights. The doors are opened with a push of a button and can be automatically closed because of an available power cinching feature. The interior lights illuminate the cabin. With only one touch by the driver, the door opens and shuts automatically and effortlessly.

Inside, the Lincoln Continental 2017 Black Label includes leather upholstery, a console that is wrapped with leather, instrument panel, metal, and general wood inlays and stitching. Also for those who want more options, the Lincoln Black Label offers three designer themes which include Chalet, Thoroughbred, and Rhapsody. When we talk about safety and convenience, the car comes with a lot more features including Pre-collision assistance, Pedestrian Detection, Adaptive Cruise Control and a 360-degree view camera to collaborate in parking when exposed to tight and narrow spaces. Automated parking is also featured along with Lane-keeping assistance.
Ford’s latest Sync 3 system will be standard on it along with the Apple Car Play and Android Auto capability. Materials include materials include leather seating, unique stitching, leather-wrapped console and instrument panel, and trim with genuine aluminum or wood trim. Seat stitching uses six to seven stitches per inch for a couture-like appearance. The front occupants benefit from the optional panoramic sunroof. Its front half slides up and over the rear, giving fresh air and light to all passengers and increasing the feeling of spaciousness in the car.

Under the hood, there is a 3.0-Liter twin-turbo Eco-Boost V-6 that is exclusive to the car and produces a massive output of 400 horsepower and 400-pound feet of torque. The all-wheel-drive system available on it features dynamic torque vectoring that transfers torque on demand to the appropriate rear-wheel.
The Lincoln Drive Control tailors the suspension and steering for the right ride and handling balance that gives three driving modes including comfort, normal and sport. The steering system optimizes the steering response to the input given by the driver.

The pricing in the US will start below $50,000 or about $10,000 more than the MKS it replaces. The car will initially be sold in the United States and China.
