The Acura NSX 2017 is a highly technical and utterly thrilling supercar.
About 25 years ago, the Acura NSX changed the world. After a long break, it is back and willing to change the world again. Everyone lusts after Ferrari, but nobody knows that it does something strange when you hit the start-line-starts. The original Acura NSX 2017 is the car that sent Ferrari back to school to learn how to make a supercar that worked efficiently.
Designed with weight-saving construction, the car has three electric motors in its powertrain and a mid-mounted twin-turbo engine making a massive output. It also offers pulse-pounding performance with all-wheel drive as standard, paired with everyday usability. A nine-speed dual-clutch automatic is available. It shares the same initials like its predecessor with a few more refinements. It provides a masterful performance of integrating turbos, clutches, gears, motors, and batteries.
It belongs to one of the most complex pieces of cars that exist in the world, based on its engineering. Moreover, it is capable of shattering speed and acceleration, with its even-tempered nature. What you will like in this car is the track mode and option Michelin Pilot Sports Cup 2 tires. The car is sexy as hell with effortless high-speed grip. It rides on an aluminum space frame with carbon fiber floor and aerodynamics fully covered in the body to keep it in balance. Its rival cars include McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder.
ACURA NSX 2017-EXTERIOR
The body of the car uses aluminum mostly along with carbon fiber accents. There is an optional carbon fiber roof present when required. The design of the body is made while keeping minimum aerodynamic drag in mind and balancing the front and rear downforce at the same time. Not only this, the design was made keeping cooling conditions in mind. The shape of the car is a wedge with cooling ducts on back fenders.
The back spoiler is a little bit conservative with no active aero-components present on it. The front end features a stylish take on Acura’s beak-style grille, which is further supported by large air intakes and LED headlights. The rear diffuser works with the spoiler and taillight slots to generate downforce. The low and wider shape of the car smothers the track from rear grille which is a few inches above the ground level. LED headlights wrap into its corners to create a set of wings.
