The Buick Verano 2017 delivers an amazing performance with its appealing engine and provides high-quality comfort. Its simplified lineup includes the base, Sports Touring, and Leather models. The smaller lineup loses the high-quality engine and thus delivers lesser performance.
The car is deeply related to the first-generation Chevrolet Cruze and is influenced by it. But that model was redesigned for 2016. The Verano is expected to gain the attention of many car buyers due to its performance package of excellence and comfort.
BUICK VERANO 2017-EXTERIOR
Outside, from a styling point of view, the car features many hints of its heritage in the grille and interior to mask its small-car body proportions. Almost all its styling cues are uniformly tasteful. The exterior completely matches with a richly finished interior provided with dash and softly lit gauges.
It shares some significant suspension and body structures with the last-generation Cruze, but it’s more comfortable tuned and relentlessly quiet. All models have a softly sprung feel. Handling is predictable and safe, and can even be fun if you don’t mind body lean. Four-wheel disc brakes provide plenty of stopping power.
BUICK VERANO 2017-INTERIOR
Inside, the car features a refined, comfortable, quiet interior that makes the car unique and distinguishes it from less-expensive compact sedans. Quiet Tuning is a keyword at Buick, and it describes much of the car’s personality. The cabin is well-composed and noise-free. It has been designed keeping accuracy in mind. Cabin includes many additional features like triple-sealed doors, laminated side glass, an acoustic windshield, and mats.
The Verano is very quiet inside. Interior appointments are worthy of comparison to luxury cars this size, and the front-wheel-drive layout grants the Verano a spacious interior. The front seats are superb, with all-day support for a wide range of drivers, along with plenty of seat travel and headroom for the tallest drivers. The car is expected to face a serious competition with its rival cars. The rear seats are well-positioned for adults, too. Trunk space is large and well-shaped, and rear seatbacks fold forward nearly flat, with a wide opening.
BUICK VERANO 2017-ENGINE AND PERFORMANCE
Under the hood is present the powertrain of the car. The 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine is not quick by any means. It’s capable of a 0-60 mph time of a modest 8.6 seconds, but the front-driver feels a little more eager than that, thanks to a responsive 6-speed automatic and an overall level of refinement that’s among the best in its segment. The car provides the EPA rating at 21 mpg city, 31 highway, 24 combined which is not so impressive compared to mainstream compact cars.
BUICK VERANO 2017-PRICE
The car has a starting price of $20,000s and comes equipped with dual-zone automatic climate control, steering-wheel controls, an AM/FM/CD player, a USB input, and 17-inch alloy wheels. However, the base model lacks Bluetooth, the rearview camera, and the Buick IntelliLink touch screen interface. Those features are standard on the other models, and buyers can get such features as heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, navigation, a Bose surround sound audio system, and leather upholstery on higher line models.
BUICK VERANO 2017 RELEASE DATE
The car will go on release by the end of 2016 or start of 2017.
